Colors with relatively lighter hues (5/Off-white, KN/Natural, 1/Beige, 14/Dark Beige) exhibit gentle fading and are colors where you can enjoy a natural texture for a long time.

Rudeback^® Half Processing

Rudeback^® Half processing is Fuji no Mori's unique dyeing process that creates a vintage-like texture, as if the fabric has been well-used and softened. The fabric (greige/kibata) is repeatedly dyed with sulfur dyes in a non-continuous manual process without excessive stress, achieving vibrant colors, and then washed off to finish. Fabrics dyed with sulfur dyes soften with repeated washing, developing creases, scuffs, and fading, but to some extent, their characteristics are maintained.

Handling of fabrics dyed with sulfur dyes

• Fabrics dyed with sulfur dyes are more prone to fading and discoloration than general fabrics. While general washing is possible, to minimize fading, use a neutral detergent such as a delicate wash and cold water.
• Lightfastness is very weak, and fading or discoloration can occur not only during washing but also from direct sunlight or fluorescent lights. Always store in a place away from light.
• If you are sensitive to color fading, please avoid using fabrics dyed with sulfur dyes.

Characteristics of the processing

There may be streaks, selvedge wrinkles, dyeing irregularities, slubs, naps, weaving creases, etc., as shown in the image above. These are not defects, so please understand them as natural characteristics.
