Original Linen 60s

Original Linen 60s

This is a plain-woven mixed fabric, woven in Japan, using 60s ramie yarn for the warp and 60s linen yarn for the weft. Through the handiwork of artisans, the natural texture inherent to natural materials has been brought out.

It is characterized by a moderate elasticity and a smooth, fluid feel that doesn't cling to the skin, harmonizing the crispness of ramie with the softness of linen. Taking advantage of the properties of the dyes, it has a natural unevenness and luster, and the color fades and deepens in flavor with use. Available in 15 colors.

Natural texture that maximizes the qualities of ramie and linen fibers

“Original Linen 60s” is a plain-woven linen fabric made in Japan, using 60-count ramie 100% yarn for the warp, which has strength, and 60-count linen 100% yarn for the weft, which is flexible. Through the handwork of dye artisans in the Enshu region of Hamamatsu, who are well-versed in natural materials, the inherent flavor of the material is maximized, resulting in a natural finish.

Moderate elastic softness and a smooth, fluid feel that doesn't cling to the skin

“Original Linen 60s” is characterized by a moderate thinness, bringing out a good balance of the firm crispness of ramie and the supple softness of linen. This results in a moderate elastic softness and a smooth, fluid feel that doesn't cling to the skin.

Realistic unevenness born from serendipity

“Original Linen 60s” leverages the natural fiber quality of linen and the properties of special dyes, intentionally creating accidental dyeing variations to achieve a more realistic unevenness. This exquisitely expresses a rich texture with a moderate material luster and unevenness.

Damage Dyed And Washed process ddw®

Unlike printed tie-dyeing, "Original Linen 60s" is produced by applying special damage to the greige fabric and simultaneously dyeing it. This method carefully finishes each bolt over a long period without altering the inherent character of the fabric.
