Rudeback® Half Processing

Rudeback® Half processing is Kiji no Mori's unique dyeing process to create a vintage feel, as if the fabric has been worn and softened over time. Without putting undue stress on the raw fabric, it is repeatedly dyed with sulfur dyes in a non-continuous manual process to achieve vivid colors, then washed to finish. Fabrics dyed with sulfur dyes become softer with repeated washing, developing unique fades, abrasions, wrinkles, and color loss, allowing them to change and conform to the wearer.

Handling Fabrics Dyed with Sulfur Dyes

Regular washing is possible, but to lighten the degree of color fading, use a neutral detergent for delicate clothes and wash in cold water. Since the purpose is color fading, please always wash separately.

This fabric is left-hand twill.

Processing Characteristics

Please note that there may be streaks, selvedge wrinkles, uneven dyeing, slubs, neps, and weaving wrinkles as shown in the image above. These are not defects but natural characteristics of the fabric.
