Ramie linen is a blend of two types of fibers, ramie and linen, in a well-balanced combination.

While most flax spinning is done overseas today, ramie linen, which blends the crispness of ramie with the softness of linen, is made with Japan's advanced spinning technology.

This fabric is woven in a wide plain weave using 25-count blended yarn in the Enshu region.

Raw ramie linen fabric is very fuzzy, so it undergoes a pre-treatment called "keyaki" (singeing) at a Japanese factory, where the fuzz on the surface is burned off. This extra step smoothes the fabric and makes it soft to the touch.

Through a special dyeing process that carefully washes the fabric to bring out the natural characteristics of the material, it is characterized by naturally occurring random wrinkles, and its rustic charm, typical of natural materials, is appealing.

This medium-thick plain weave fabric has minimal swaying and is wide, making it suitable for a wide range of uses from fashion items like outerwear, tops, bottoms, dresses, and aprons, to covers and cloths.
