1. "Fluffy and smooth" texture woven from linen and cotton
"Half-Linen Big Waffle" is a cotton-linen fabric made by blending linen and cotton and weaving them into a honeycomb (waffle) pattern.
The crispness of linen and the softness of cotton are well-balanced, resulting in a "fluffy" and soft, yet "smooth" and refreshing texture.

2. Skin-friendly texture
"Half-Linen Big Waffle" undergoes an extra step of "singeing," which burns off the fuzz remaining on the fabric surface to make it smooth. This creates a texture that is gentler on the skin and more pleasant to the touch.

3. "Springy" elasticity with a three-dimensional, large-patterned weave
Pay attention to the grid pattern of "Half-Linen Big Waffle"!
The size of the waffle fabric's squares changes the unevenness, the depth of the three-dimensional weave, and the thickness.

4. Domestic specifications: spun, woven, and processed in Japan
"Half-Linen Big Waffle" uses cotton-linen blended yarn made with Japan's proud advanced spinning technology.
It is a domestic product, woven and processed entirely in Japan.

5. Unbleached, undyed, non-mercerized for sustainability
"Half-Linen Big Waffle" achieves its naturally coarse and natural texture by not undergoing mercerization (a strong alkali treatment to stabilize fabric quality), which is common in fabric manufacturing.
By focusing on the material's feel and texture, we produce fabric without bleaching, dyeing, or excessive use of strong chemical agents like mercerization, resulting in a sustainable fabric that is kind to both people and the environment.

"Half-Linen Big Waffle" grid size: approx. 9-10mm
For those concerned about the scratchiness of linen or hemp waffle fabric, "Half-Linen Big Waffle" offers a gentle and comfortable feel.
It can be used by everyone in the family, from small children to adults.
Please take this opportunity to try it.

Handling Tips
Due to the nature of the processing, some resin remains in the fabric, which may initially repel water slightly.
When using it for towels, please wash it once before use.
Three-dimensional woven fabrics with uneven surfaces have some elasticity.
When cutting, spread it flat and allow the fabric to settle for a while before cutting.
Characteristics of the Processing
Overall lines, wrinkles, cotton husks (black dots), yarn slubs, and neps are present as they appear naturally.
These are not considered defects, so please understand them as natural characteristics of the material and processing.
