Lino Grange 40 Count Wide Width Linen Damaged Dyed
Lino Grange 40 Count Wide Width Linen Damaged Dyed is characterized by its uneven hand-dyed texture and wrinkles. When tailored, it adds depth and individuality to your creations, and the color and texture change with wear. You can enjoy its unique character, elevate your finished products, and savor the richness of creation.

Damaged and Faded Linen with an Existing Character
"Lino Grange 40 Count Wide Width Linen Damaged Dyed" is a linen fabric created with a ddw® damaged-dyed-and-washed process, where the fabric is specially damaged and dyed and washed simultaneously from its greige state. A major characteristic of this fabric is its already seasoned vintage appearance even before tailoring.
By embracing the accidental uneven dyeing and wrinkles instead of aiming for uniformity, a realistic grunge feel is created that cannot be replicated in mass production.
This linen has an immediate atmosphere, and its character deepens with wear—you can feel the unique touch of handcrafting from the moment you pick it up.

100% French Linen, Medium Weight and Supple
"Lino Grange 40 Count Wide Width Linen Damaged Dyed" is a plain weave fabric using 40 count French linen for both warp and weft threads. The fabric width varies from 130cm to 145cm depending on the color.
It is medium-weight (standard fabric) and not easily sheer, with a suppleness that makes it suitable for both pants and outerwear. It develops a seasoned feel with wear.
*Please note that there may be slight variations in fabric width and dyeing irregularities depending on the color and lot.

Realistic Unevenness Born from Chance
To achieve a vintage feel like old clothes, we leverage the natural characteristics of linen fibers and special dyes, deliberately allowing for unintentional color variations. This creates a more realistic uneven texture.

All 13 Colors, Deepening in Character with the Wearer
"Lino Grange 40 Count Wide Width Linen Damaged Dyed" is appealing from the start with its unique unevenness and seasoned texture.
The 13 colors each have subtle differences in expression and atmosphere, and the faded look varies depending on the user.
Choosing a color is one of the great joys of crafting. By finding a color that suits you and tailoring it, you can experience the pleasure of watching your creation evolve with you.

Carefully Crafted One by One by Our Artisans
Our fabrics at Tenjiku no Mori are created in Hamamatsu, our local area, by artisans with extensive knowledge of natural fibers. They use their skilled techniques and intuition to achieve the desired texture, surface appearance, and dyeing quality. You can experience the warmth of handcrafted work and the artistry of the craftsmen as you complete your creations.

Damaged Dyed and Washed (ddw®) Process
"Lino Grange 40 Count Wide Width Linen Damaged Dyed" is finished not by printing an uneven dye, but by a manufacturing method that applies special damage to the greige fabric and dyes it simultaneously.
To preserve the fabric's character, each roll is carefully finished over a long period. This process allows accidental wrinkles and uneven dyeing to be expressed as natural individuality, creating a realistic, vintage feel that cannot be produced through mass production, enabling the creation of unique pieces.

Characteristics of the Processing
Due to the nature of the damaged dyed and washed process, there may be streaks, selvedge wrinkles, uneven dyeing, slubs, neps, weaving wrinkles, etc., as shown in the image above. These are not defects but rather natural textures unique to this fabric.
